QuoteFence ("we", "us") provides an instant fence-quote tool that fence contractors put on their websites. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with.

Homeowners using a contractor's quote tool

When you use a QuoteFence quote tool on a fence contractor's website or quote link, we collect what you enter or draw:

• Your name, phone number, email address, preferred contact time, and property address.
• The fence you draw or type in: footage, gates, styles, heights, colors, options, and the estimate shown to you.
• Basic technical details: the page you came from (referrer), any campaign tags in the link (for example UTM tags), and your approximate country based on your IP address.

If the contractor has turned on contact-first mode, the contact details you enter may be saved even if you don't finish the estimate.

Leads are shared with the contractor

The purpose of the tool is to send your request to the fence contractor whose website you are on. Everything listed above is delivered to that contractor as a lead, in their QuoteFence dashboard and, if they have set it up, by email alert or by webhook to their own CRM or other software. The contractor uses it to contact you about your fence. The contractor's own privacy practices apply to what they do with it after that. For questions about your estimate or your information, contact the contractor directly. You can also email us.

The address search uses OpenStreetMap (Nominatim), and the satellite map uses Esri imagery. Your browser sends the address you search and the map area you view to those services. If the contractor has added Google Tag Manager or a Meta Pixel to their quote tool, those services may also receive information about your visit under their own policies.

Estimates are based on the contractor's own prices. They are not a binding offer. The final price is confirmed by the contractor.

Fence contractors (our customers)

When you start a free trial or subscribe, we collect your company name, your name, email, phone, website, and the plan and billing choices you make. We use this to set up your account, run the service, contact you about your account, and provide support. We also store your price sheet, branding, settings, and your team's login details.

Payments

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout and go straight to Stripe. QuoteFence does not see or store full card numbers. Stripe's privacy policy applies to the information it processes.

How we use and protect information

We use information only to provide and support QuoteFence, deliver leads to contractors, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information. Data is stored with our hosting provider, Cloudflare. Dashboards are password protected, and contractor price sheets are kept on our servers.

Retention and your choices

Lead records are kept while the contractor's account is active, or until the contractor or we delete them. A contractor can ask us to delete their account and leads at any time. Homeowners can ask the contractor, or us, to delete their information.
